The immediate Surroundings

(Lochbroom Lodge)is situated 3/4 of a mile north of Ullapool on the A835. It stands on the hill on the old crofting township of more field with magnificent panoramic views over Ullapool & Lochbroom.

Red deer hinds & stags

Red deer can be seen on our own hill, just behind the lodge (the picture was taken in our grounds). You and your children may carefully walked close by & study the young bambis - lovely to see with their caring mothers - at close range.

From September onwards, for about a month, stags will be rutting and are VERY dangerous. They must not be approached during this season. For sportsmen and women we have stalking for stags and hinds on an neighbouring estate. You must be booked in early to avoid disapointment.
