Living, dining, sleeping

Lochbroom lodge is a large and versatile building with an east and a west wing: ideal accommodation for large gatherings yet thanks to its unique layout, fully adaptible for 2 smaller parties as and when required.

The East Wing

The An Teallach Room

This spacious room has 4 individual areas:

  • The arch area with its comfy sofas and entertainment unit
  • The viewing lounge with ample seating at its very large south facing windows, with a glass door leading on to a large decked veranda with outdoor dining and barbeque facilities
  • The dining area has two large wooden tables when combined can comfortably seat up to 18 people
  • Bar: The little "Nip in" always has a "wee dram" left in the bottle to welcome you on your arrival at the lodge
  • Last but not least, the An Tealleach Room has separate ladies' and gents' toilets.

Kitchen

. . . is well equipped with breakfast bar, gas hob, large stand up fridge and freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, infra red gas grill and a microwave.

Laundry room

Fully tiled drying area with washing machine, dryer, and shelving for outdoor gear and boots.

East wing upstairs accommodation

Sleeps 10 +1 in 5 double rooms all en suite, 4 with showers and 1 with corner bath/shower +1 fold down bed if required.

The West Wing.

Ben Ghoblach lounge

Lounge and TV room with large south facing window overlooking Lochbroom and mountains with an open fire.

Kitchen

Well equipped with dining area, gas cooker, electric eyelevel oven and grill, fridge/freezer and a microwave.

The old office

Book-lined sanctuary and games room - whatever you prefer.

Laundry room a drying area

Here you will find the washing machine, dryer and racks for outdoor gear and boots.

West wing accommodation

Sleeps 7 + 2.

  • Two double rooms, one with ensuite bathroom
  • Three single rooms
  • One double sofa bed (in the Old Office room) if required
  • Bathroom with toilet
  • Shower room with toilet
  • Separate toilet with washbasin.

Grounds

Garden behind west wing has outdoor table and chairs and barbeque which are all portable if need be.

Garden to the front has chairs to relax with a book or a glass or simply take in the view.

West Wing has sky TV and internet wi-fi access.

Dogs are permitted but not in the bedrooms or lounge areas.

Lochbroom lodge is a non smoking lodge but the gardens provide ample sheltered areas for smoking.

Parking and play area

The large parking area for the lodge provides a marked out area for badminton and a single set of goal posts, rackets, shuttle cocks and football are provided.( note this is a shared activities area for both east and west wings of the lodge.)

Fuel & Linen

Coal and firewood will be charged at cost, however sufficient for the first day is on hand free of charge. Bed linen and hand-towels are provided but please bring your own swim towels.
